I awoke today with a smile on my face. Get your head out of the gutter.  Tsk! Tsk!   I smiled because I knew I am one of two people in the city of Norman, who own a copy of Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater.  It remains elusive in our small town.  And I am rallying the troops for a group photo with the book so I can enter Maggie Stiefvater's contest.  I will keep you posted on the outcome.

Another day closer to finishing book two draft two edits.  I managed to complete two chapters of edits today . . . don't ask me when I did it, it's a secret.  So I have six chapters left to proof.  However one chapter is being written from scratch. This happens when a writer lets her personal feelings about a character compel her to send said character away and then realizes in the aftermath that said character is needed to make a better story.  DUH!!!  You live and learn.  But I am glad said character is back and I am ready to get all characters out of dire straits . . . . I feel sadistic.  But tragedy builds character . . . right?

Anyway, I have some leisure reading to do.

Hugs & Encouragement!
