Friday Five

As you read this, I am attending my first writing conference EVER. (Maybe not right now if you’re reading this at 4 am; the conference starts at 9 am.) I am prepared to shower you with what I learn upon its completion. Be prepared to be soaked. J

I only worked three days this week. Whoohooo!!!

Kid quote of the week. (I know, it’s been a while): “I can’t believe I will be finished with 5th grade in one month and then going to middle school. I feel soooo old.”  Eye roll anyone?

On my brain vacation I read three books: The Dark Divine by Despain, By The Time You Read This I’ll Be Dead by Peters, and As You Wish by Pearce. All three YA books were good. I still have stack of books begging for attention, so I’ve decided to do one more week of brain vacation.

Stephenie Meyer and Summit FINALLY announced who will be directing Breaking Dawn. I was starting to think Jesus would return before they agreed to make the movie. Twilighters across the world are doing a happy dance. (Yes, I know some people are rolling their eyes at this news. Didn’t your mom ever tell you that your eyes could get stuck like that?)
